Watches has certainly become an integral part for most people’s wardrobe. No matter what we wear or we go, we always have a watch with us at all times in order to know the time and decide what we should be doing at that specific time. From being rudimentary timepieces, watches have also now evolved to the advanced devices we use today. Aside from being more accurate and stylish, watches have also become more suited to the ones using them.

The most common would be the cheap all purpose watches that serve nothing more than to tell you the time. Because they are so inexpensive, the materials used are also of questionable quality, not to mention the workmanship. These are not the types of watches that we would concern ourselves with.

There are now many kinds of watches depending on the environment and the person who is wearing it. There are watches that are meant for sporty people. These watches are designed to be tough and reliable because they are usually used outdoors and in rugged conditions. It is quite common for these watches to be shockproof and waterproof, and can even be worn while diving to certain depths. These are usually electronic to reduce the probability of damage and ensure top notch reliability. Some of these watches even include functions like heart rate monitors and temperature sensors which you can use to keep track of your body during exercise or any other physical activity.

Another type are fashion watches, which are simply watches that look good. Even telling the time has become a secondary function for these watches. These types of watches often come in lines that are either for men or women as the design could vary greatly. Models for men are usually larger and wider while fashion watches for women tend to be thin and small.

Then there are luxury watches, these are watches that are priced way beyond all the other ones as they are no longer simple timepieces. These watches are intricately made with the highest quality materials and with the best designers and craftsmen. Watches made by Rolex, Christian Dior, and other have become more than simple watches to being status symbols that people look at and think that the person wearing it is someone important. There are also alternatives to luxury watches like those made by Primo. These watches are inspired by the most prominent watch houses’ designs and are made with the best materials. The only difference between Primo watches and those that are made by Rolex is in the price. Though Primo luxury watches are still pricey, they are nowhere near the price tags that go along the high profile names like Rolex.
