If you are a fan of MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Play Game) this article is going to be one of the most interesting things you may have seen. I am going to be making a top five of MMORPGs, adding a little bit of review for everyone of them, so stay “tuned” to see which game gets the first place.

5. Final Fantasy XI – Since the release of the first Final fantasy back in 1987, the game was a really big hit. Final Fantasy XI provides you entry to the world of Vana’Diel, where you must constantly fight back the attack of beastmen hordes. The quality of the graphics is good; the only thing that you have to do is set the resolution beyond 480×640.

For the beginners in online gaming, MMORPG stands for massively multiplayer online role-playing games. It is a virtual gaming world that a very large amount of players participate in at the same time. Most of the games are fantasy related but not all of them are based on fictional settings. The player controls the characters actions among many other virtual players. MMORPG’s are different from RPG’s (its predecessor role-playing games) because the game’s publisher usually hosts the game on a server, so the game persists and evolves even while a player is offline or away from the keyboard (AFK). These games are played worldwide on a simultaneous level. In 2008 MMORPG pay to play games brought 1.4 billions dollars in revenue. The most popular games have up to 11.5 million subscribers alone. It is a fast growing industry that is attracting many newcomers.
