Fila was an Italian company founded in 1911. Its main product then was clothing and underwear suitable for the Alpine denizens. It then branched out to manufacture clothing for different sports focusing mainly in tennis apparel as endorsed by Björn Borg. Over the years and after some change of ownership, more items were added to Fila’s line in its bid to be at par with other leading sports brands. Functional watches have the basic altimeter, barometer, electronic compass, chronograph, and is about 30 meters water resistant. A Dynamic watch has an analog quartz movement in either stainless steel or leather bands with a water resistance of 30 meters to 50 meters. An Image and Tennis watch can be an analog quartz or automatic movement watch in aluminum or transparent casing with stainless steel or silicone rubber band. A Vintage watch has quartz analog or an LCD movement , aluminum or stainless steel case nylon or stainless steel strap and from 30 to 50 meter water resistant. Water sports watches are top in line for their outstanding quartz movement, chronograph 1/1 second, stainless steel case, stainless steel bracelet and its amazing 200 meter water resistant specifications. Motor Sports watches have an almost identical specifications with water sports watches except for the chronograph 1/20 and its 100 meter water resistance. The Lifestyle watches are dress watches in leather or stainless steel bands.
