One could spend considerable amount of time sharpening navigational skills but if you don’t have the proper gear and tools to embark on a good hike or trail, it could be extremely dangerous to go astray into the wilderness without standard navigational or multifunctional tools and the knowledge base or understanding of how to use those tools.

Perhaps the most important item in any outdoor adventure and activities is a map.  Without the ever reliable map or some familiarity of an area, one has no chance of identifying where you are, let alone your destination and how to get back.   Activities such as hiking, mountaineering, biking, or even river rafting should be an adventure worth remembering.  But aside from the map, one needs just enough support or arsenal should anything go wrong.  High Gear, a company conceptualized by outdoor enthusiast Mike Mosey, had created a unique line of navigational tools and devices dedicated to make anyone prepared for the outdoors or the wilderness.
